The Scottsdale Duos Golf League is a casual, co-ed golf league. You can sign up with a partner or as an individual. Partners may be a spouse, a significant other, a partner, a family member, or a friend.
If you don't have someone to join with, join as an individual. We will pair you with others who sign up for events without a partner.
We offer a couple of golf league events each month alternating between McCormick Ranch Golf Club and various other courses around the Scottsdale/Phoenix area.

ABOUT ERIK & JULIE SCHJOLBERG
Erik Schjolberg, the Golf Professional organizing this coed league, along with his wife, Julie Schjolberg, saw a need for a way to help couples meet and play with other couples that golf.
Erik offers discounted lessons to member of the league to help them become as good as they they want to be.
Beyond his PGA designation, Erik is certified in a variety of programs that are based on understanding human anatomy, individual physical limitations and how to maximize performance and power in the golf swing.
Some of the certifications coach Erik has completed include: PGA HOPE, TPI LEVEL 1 & 2 (Titleist Performance Institute), Boditrak, Dr. Kwon's Biomechanics Level 1 & 2, Scott Cowx Certified, Trackman Certified Level 1 & 2, ADM Certified w/ PGA and among others Titleist Certified club fitter.
I've taken multiple private lessons with Erik and he's been by far the best swing coach I have ever worked with. He has the ability to dissect your swing and make small changes for big improvements. What I love most about his lessons is they go far beyond the 1 or 2 hours you're with him. He follows up with videos of how you can improve at home and on the range. The value he provides is absolutely worth the cost of his sessions. I would recommend any golfer at any level who truly wants to get better to go see Erik.”

Erik is the best! and that is not an exaggeration. There has not been a single lesson where I haven't walked out and felt like a far better golfer than before. WHO IS THIS LEAGUE FOR?
This league is designed for golfers looking to meet other golfers. It has been created to be friendly for couples but is open to all golfers.
HOW MUCH DOES IT COST TO JOIN?
The annual membership is $149 for an individual. A second membership can be purchased for only $99 using a coupon code that is sent shortly after the first membership is purchased.
HOW DO I REGISTER FOR THE LEAGUE?
First, you’ll create an account and then register for the league membership. To register, Step 1 - create into your account, Step 2 - Click on "Buy Product" in the upper left corner, Step 3 - Click on "Memberships", Step 4 - Click on the "Scottsdale Duos Golf League" membership, Step 5 - Enter your payment information, Step 6 - Click "Confirm & Pay". WHERE DOES THE LEAGUE PLAY?
We play at various courses in the Scottsdale/Phoenix area. We offer at least one event each month at McCormick Ranch Golf Club at 7505 E McCormick Ranch Pkwy, Scottsdale, AZ 85258. Click here for directions.
WHAT DAYS DOES THE LEAGUE PLAY?
We offer events on Friday afternoons. The dates scheduled so far are listed above.
HOW DO I SIGN UP FOR A PLAY DAY?
Members can follow these instructions to register. Step 1 - Sign into your account; Step 2 - Click "Book Clinic" in the upper left corner; Step 3 - Click "Scottsdale Duos Golf League"; Step 4 - Select the day you want to sign up for; Step 5 - Enter your payment information; Step 6 - Click "Confirm & Pay" The deadline to sign up is three days before the event. There are no refunds given past the deadline.
CAN I RENT CLUBS?
Yes. If you need to rent clubs for an event, contact Julie Schjolberg at [email protected] to get pricing for each event.
WHAT IS THE PLAYING FORMAT FOR THE LEAGUE?
At this point we don't offer any special tournament play.
CAN I INVITE A FRIEND TO PLAY OR PLAY AS A GUEST MYSELF?
If you have a friend in town that wants to participate or you are someone wanting to try the group out before paying the full annual membership, there is a drop in option. The drop in option allows someone to come play with the league. A member can include up to three guests during their registration. Guests pay a higher price per round.
WHAT IS THE REFUND/CANCELLATION POLICY?
We follow the refund policy of each golf course. In most cases, rounds can be cancelled for a refund before the deadline three days prior to each event. In the case of inclement weather, the course will determine whether the course is playable. They will only issues refunds if the course closes due to the weather. You have the option to receive a refund or apply the payment to a future play day.
Location
EJS Golf Academy is located at McCormick Ranch G. C. in Scottsdale, AZ. Golf lessons are given mainly in a private bay with access to grass as well as practice areas for chipping and putting.
