TWO FLIGHTS EVERY EVENT

We offer two ways to play every event:

- Flight #1

- Flight #1 is for those who want a little bit of competition. Players will be keeping score and will need to have an official handicap (through GHIN or another official handicap service). After the round, the scores will be calculated and a winner will be announced within 24 hours based on net score (gross score minus handicap)

- Flight #2

- Flight #2 is for those interested in playing a non-competitive practice round where scoring is not necessary and a handicap is not required.

Each flight is listed separately on the website, so be sure to select the flight you are interested in. You don't have to select the same flight every time. Each flight is labeled and the Flight #1 will ask for your handicap when you register.

What Members are Saying...

Scottsdale Golf League for Women is a FUN group of women wanting to get out and improve their golf game without competition! Great setting to get comfortable out there on the course! It is well organized and lots of fun!

KATIE K.

I’m new to golf and the Scottsdale Golf League for Women has been just what I’ve been looking for. I’m able to practice playing on the course with others who are at a similar level and who are supportive and fun to play with. I encourage anyone who wants to learn to give this group a try. You won’t be disappointed.

KRIS R.

Scottsdale Golf League for Women has been such a great way to meet people and improve my game. My first golf lesson with EJS Golf was AMAZING and beyond helpful! I love the flexibility of the schedule for the women’s league and how everyone feels welcome no matter your skill level.

ABOUT ERIK & JULIE SCHJOLBERG

Erik Schjolberg, the Golf Professional organizing this women's league, along with his wife, Julie Schjolberg, saw a need for a way to help women feel more comfortable and confident to play golf.

In looking for a way to support women in the game of golf, they were approached to help start a women's league offering 9-hole play days that would support players of all levels and abilities. The Scottsdale Golf League for Women was born!

Erik offers discounted lessons to member of the league to help them become as good as they they want to be.

Beyond his PGA designation, Erik is certified in a variety of programs that are based on understanding human anatomy, individual physical limitations and how to maximize performance and power in the golf swing.

Some of the certifications coach Erik has completed include: PGA HOPE, TPI LEVEL 1 & 2 (Titleist Performance Institute), Boditrak, Dr. Kwon's Biomechanics Level 1 & 2, Scott Cowx Certified, Trackman Certified Level 1 & 2, ADM Certified w/ PGA and among others Titleist Certified club fitter.

Apostrophe

I've taken multiple private lessons with Erik and he's been by far the best swing coach I have ever worked with. He has the ability to dissect your swing and make small changes for big improvements. What I love most about his lessons is they go far beyond the 1 or 2 hours you're with him. He follows up with videos of how you can improve at home and on the range. The value he provides is absolutely worth the cost of his sessions. I would recommend any golfer at any level who truly wants to get better to go see Erik.”

- Reanol H.

Apostrophe

Erik is the best! and that is not an exaggeration. There has not been a single lesson where I haven't walked out and felt like a far better golfer than before. What can't be praised enough is the effort and dedication that Eric puts into each of his students, as his approach to fixing and improving my golf swing was specific to me. While teaching, Erik takes the extra time to truly dive into what he is trying to convey rather than just telling you, allowing for a better understanding. Beyond the instruction at the course, Erik sends specific drills to you from an app that allows for slow motion replays, letting you break down everything and work on your game at any time. I genuinely mean it when I say that I would recommend Erik to anyone wanting to improve their golf game, as he is not only a top not instructor but also a top notch person who cares about his students.

- Brennan K.

Apostrophe

Erik is flat out a great coach and mentor! I highly recommend him! Working from the ground up, my swing is healthier and smooth! I wanted a coach that shared the same main principles as the late Tony Manzoni and Erik hits the mark! Found Erik by listening to the Golf Smarter podcast by Fred Greene and connected with EJS Golf through the Perfect Motion app. Erik is motivated and incredibly gifted at his craft!
